MD Wear and Carry Permit - Renewal

Service Description

Course Overview: This course is for current Wear & Carry permit holders who need to renew. Students will leave with an understanding of carry procedures, legal issues and use of force. Course Length: 8 hours Classroom Instruction: - Application requirements - Introduce and Review Safe Gun Handling Procedures - Pistol Parts and Operation - Ammunition knowledge and selection - Cleaning and Maintenance - Holster selection - Maryland Firearms Laws - Use of Deadly Force - Mindset - Interactions with law enforcement Live fire session: - Demonstrate Safety principals - Demonstrate Marksmanship Skills - Shoot a qualification course of fire. 70% rating to qualify. - Class includes 25 qualifying rounds of 9mm ammunition and target. - Bring your own 9mm handgun or we can provide one for qualification. Class is held at 2028 Liberty Rd, Eldersburg MD 21784. Range location will vary by date.
